If the centers were originally facing the same direction, the result will be some kind of box. Note that nobody turns -- the centers move forward without turning, and the ends move sideways without turning. The original centers will always be facing out, but the others may be facing into or out of the box, depending on which way they were facing to start.

If the centers start facing in opposite directions, then the four dancers will end up in a "Z" formation.
