Mix rearranges the dancers in a line in two steps. First, the centers Cross Run, to become the new ends. Second, the new centers (who were originally the ends) Trade. The result from a right-handed wave is a left-handed wave.
The result of Mix from a left-handed wave is a right-handed wave.
But Mix can be done from any kind of line. It does not have to be a wave. The trade in the center can be a Partner Trade.
