Lockit is usually done from a wave. Everybody walks forward 1/4 of a circle around the center of the wave, with the centers doing an Arm Turn 1/4 while the ends walk individually.
Note that this is the same as Fan the Top except that the centers go 1/4 instead of 3/4.
From a two-faced line, Lockit is the same as a Couples Hinge.
Lockit can also be done from a diamond. In this case the result is another diamond.
