It does not contain the official definitions of the calls, nor does it describe or illustrate all of the ways in which each call can be used, nor is it organized for looking calls up by name. For reference purposes, you may want to consult either or both of the following: However, links are provided to pages which provide the same kind of material in an online format, for the convenience of readers who want to learn more.This guide is not intended as an outline for a standard class with a live instructor. CALLERLAB publishes a recommended teaching order for A-1. While instructors do not necessarily follow that order, they will generally choose to teach things in a particular order for reasons relating to their teaching style or the class format, for example to allow for practice of certain calls before teaching another. If you are currently taking a class, do not expect your instructor to follow the order in this guide. If you have questions about calls that have not yet been taught in your class, it would be best to ask your instructor about them during a break or after class rather than bringing them up while he or she is trying to focus on something else.
