26: MORE REGULAR VERBS - FACING COUPLES

Once you know how a certain kind of verb is used, you can proceed to learn about others that are used in the same way. The actions are different, but the way they fit into the square dance language is the same.

You already know about Right and Left Thru, which is done from facing couples.

There can be two pairs of couples doing the action at the same time, such as in facing lines.

The caller can also direct just two couples (usually consisting of the center four dancers) to do it, from other formations.

Or from a squared set, the caller can direct either the heads or the sides to do it with each other.

We will now look at three more verbs that are used in the same way, from the same kinds of formations.
