19.3: STEP THRU
Earlier we saw how Step to a Wave can be thought of as doing half of a Pass Thru. Instead of passing each other and ending up on the other side, back to back, the dancers stop halfway and take hands.
The dancers who are already in a wave can drop hands and complete the Pass Thru action. This is called a Step Thru.
Note that after a Step Thru, the dancers are directly back to back, just as if they had done an entire Pass Thru.
