15: SOME VERBS THAT APPLY TO TWO COUPLESA couple consists of two individual dancers. If there are two couples, there are four individual dancers. But as we have already seen there are several different ways that those two couples can be arranged. For example:
Some of the things done by two couples will keep the "shape" of their overall formation unchanged. The individual dancers will end up in different positions, but it will be the same four positions. For example, they may start as a box and end as a box. Or they may start as a line and end as a line. Other actions will change the shape. For example, they may start as a box and end as a line, or start as a line and end as a box. We will now look at a few examples of actions of this type.
