3.3: TWO-FACED LINESLike a diamond, a line has some dancers (the centers) who are a short distance from the center point of the formation and two dancers (the "ends") who are further out, so during a counter rotate the dancers will be moving in two circles.
![]() As in the case of a diamond, the centers will be turning around the spot where they are holding hands, so they can keep holding hands. But the ends can keep holding hands with them also, since everybody is moving together in the same direction the same amount around their circles. The result of Counter Rotate 1/4 in the case of a two-faced line is the same as Couples Hinge; the result of Counter Rotate 1/2 is the same as Couples Trade.
